Which is the best budget phone with at least two software updates?

The best budget phones are looking like similar to budget laptops. They are free (or very low cost) with minimal to no maintenance (or repair) costs afterward.

The iPhone 6s is broken, there’s nothing you can do about it. Same with pretty much any other electronics device out there. When you have a shortage of funds, opting for a cheaper device with a higher likelihood of breakdown becomes a viable option.

If you’re not interested in hunting around for old Android phones, there are some good options on the market right now. I'm going to compare three of them: the Nokia 2.1, Moto G6 Play and Alcatel GO Flip 2 .

The Nokia 2.1 and Moto G6 Play both share many similarities and provide a compelling experience for their price. The Alcatel GO Flip 2 is a budget-targeted phone with a bit of an older design and hardware which is why we're comparing it to these two phones instead of the Motorola one.

I'll give you an overview of each device's specs - based on my usage so far, concluding which is the best budget phone with at least two software updates.

Design

The Moto G7 finds itself focused more on form than function; it's what you would call a “premium looking affordable phone.” It features a 6.18 inch Max Vision Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. On the other hand, the Honor 10 Lite has a 6.1 inch screen with an 18:7 aspect ratio; it's not quite as crisp considering its LCD screen, but it also isn't quite as power hungry either. 

The main similarity of both phones is their Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the front and sides, and a single-piece construction. On one side there are the volume rockers and power button, on the front you'll find the fingerprint reader, and there's a dedicated home key on the bottom. The Nokia 3310 is the best phone for me.

It has the best screen and it's from Nokia. It has the best feature of all time, the old Snake game. I don't care about apps, or screens, or battery life, or anything like that. The only thing that matters to me is the Snake game. I bought one a few years ago for my brother and it's still the best phone I've ever had.  I'll buy one for my daughter now.

The Sony XZ Premium is definitely the best phone for me.

It has a great camera for an affordable price. The battery is one of the best and I don't even care about apps or software updates. It's all so easy and easy to use. It's the only phone I've spent the most money on. Not only that, but this is the phone that got me into Android. It had a little green circle for Android! My friend convinced me to get an LG G5 at lunch. It came with Android Wear, though I didn't take much interest in it. Later, she asked if I wanted an Android phone and then she showed me her Xperia T2.
